CHASING PEACE

ABOUT US
In today's age we tend to forget the people around us. We're so focused on the here, the now, and ourselves. We forget this place we call our world, we forget the seven billion other people, and we forget how one small act can make a difference.
Jerry Werman was a shoe man. He worked in dozens of countries to bring cheap shoes to the United States for the ordinary fellow. He was able to look at a shoe and instantly tell you everything about it. Not only could he tell you each and every detail of the shoe, but he knew exactly where it was made; the history and the current events of that country. He knew the language and the culture of the people. He knew the wars they had fought in, whether they had independence or were fighting for it, he understood their religions and their belief systems, but most of all he understood their importance.
On March 18th, 2013 Jerry Werman passed away, but his dreams and hopes for a world where people valued others the way he did still lives on. Chasing Peace was started in his memory. So that we can ensure this dream becomes a reality. Join us as we distribute shoes to kids in need. Kids who come from all over, with different beliefs, religions, languages, appearance, and dress. Because in the end this is our world and the differences just don't matter.
Join the Chase.
